Interleaved's mission statement
Diversity of Perspective
We are an intersectional feminist publication, committed to highlighting diverse perspectives, which are vital in conversations regarding conservation. We focus especially on uplifting the work and voices of other women (trans and non-binary included always) as the oppression and exploitation seen in the natural world is all too familiar to us.
Raising Awareness
Our relationship with nature is broken, and the health of our planet is in a desperate state of decline. We hope that through our zines, people will be inspired to take action for nature in any way they can - nature is for all, and we are all needed to protect it.
Literature, fashion, dance, music, history... The boundaries we build between the sciences and the arts/humanities limit progression, they prevent unity in the fight against the destruction of our natural world. We hope to highlight the power of the interdisciplinary.
